Team Maryland has hired Josh Fusco, who will be the new Head Coach and General Manager of the club. Josh has plenty of coaching experience and is a certified level 4 coach with USA Hockey. Josh has held the title of Head Coach for the WBS Knights (EHL), WBS Knights (NA3HL), and Southlake High School (JV).
Over his playing career, Josh played five years of Junior Hockey, which led to a college career at Finlandia University (NCAA Division III). After college, he went on to play professionally in Europe and semi-professionally in various leagues around The United States.
Josh continues to work with elite NCAA Division I & III hockey players and coaches younger players individually with skill development and off-ice strength and conditioning programs.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to join the Team Maryland Family as the new EHL Head Coach and General Manager,” said Josh Fusco. “Hockey is on the rise in the Maryland region and I am very much looking forward to being a part of that. Team Maryland is unique in the sense that it has affiliate teams in the USHL, NAHL, and AYHL. This hockey pipeline represents a unique opportunity for our players to improve, progress, and experience higher levels of hockey. I am fully dedicated to not only finding great hockey players to join Team Maryland, but young men with high-character that will represent this organization with dignity and pride.”
Team Maryland (EHL) officially has its first college commitment in team history. Forward Connor Redden will continue his hockey career at Saint Michael’s College as a Purple Knight. Saint Michael’s College is in Colchester, Vermont and competes in the prestigious Northeast 10, which is Division II hockey.
Redden, a speedy 5’8 174-pound Forward, was born in Winnipeg, Canada, but grew up in Southbury, Connecticut. Redden has played 31 games with Team Maryland this year while tallying nine goals and ten assists. He has not only displayed his hockey potential on the EHL stage, but has been called up multiple times to play with NAHL affiliate, the Maryland Black Bears. Even with the limited opportunity, Redden has shown he can hold his own against any level of talent.
Connor Redden is a talented hockey player, hard worker, and a high-character individual. Saint Michael’s College will be lucky to have Redden represent them.
"Connor has been a tremendous player both on and off the ice for us this season,” said Team Maryland (EHL) Head Coach Jason Rowe. “He is a great young man, with a strong work ethic, and will thrive at Saint Michael's College. I am very excited for Connor and the entire Redden family as he continues his academic and athletic career as a Purple Knight."
"I am very excited to be attending Saint Michael's College,” said Team Maryland (EHL) Forward Connor Redden. “They hold the highest of standards in academics and athletics. I'm thrilled to be part of the Purple Knight family and look forward to my next four years. I want to thank my family and my coaches, especially Jason Rowe, who has helped me develop over the course of this season."
