Team Maryland is pleased to announce that Hockey Director Christopher Ceransky has been hired by the Maryland Black Bears NAHL team as the Director of Scouting. Ceransky will continue his role with Team Maryland. During this very exciting time of expansion for the TM family, the hire is proof that the new development pyramid is here to enrich both coaches and players throughout the organization.
“Chris comes highly recommended, and any NCAA coaches I have Talked to that know him, said nothing but great things about his work ethic and professionalism. He knows the landscape around this league, and knows what a NAHL player looks like. I look forward to working alongside Chris as we head into our inaugural season.” Clint Mylymok, Head Coach & GM Maryland Black Bears
This will be Ceransky’s second time working for this NAHL franchise. Before Black Bear Sport brought the very first NAHL team to Maryland, the team was based in Wichita Falls, Texas. Coach Chris was and Assistant Coach for the Wichita Falls Wildcats for two season.
“This team is near and dear to my heart,” commented Ceransky, “Taking this role means that I have worked for a franchise under two ownership groups in two cities. Also, my affiliation will make the relationship between Team Maryland and the Black Bears seamless. I am excited to watch both clubs grow together.”
