Team Maryland Forward, Jackson Dobek, has declared he will play hockey for Franklin Pierce University next season. This is the third college commitment of the season for Team Maryland (EHL). Dobek continues the new tradition that Head Coach Josh Fusco has established of successfully advancing players to the next level of hockey.
Coach Fusco issued the following statement regarding Dobek’s commitment:
“Jackson has been a rock in our lineup and a true leader in the locker room from day one,” said Fusco. “He’s been an iron man for us this season by playing all 46 games, which is a true testament to his dedication to the game and himself. We wish him all the best on his new journey starting in the fall.”
Team Maryland Forward Jackson Dobek had the following to say about his decision:
“I’m so excited to be joining Franklin Pierce University next season,” said Dobek. “The coaching staff has a great vision for the program that aligns with my playing style. I would like to thank Coach Fusco and the entire Team Maryland organization enough for helping me develop as a player and giving me the necessary tools to advance to the next level.”
The Franklin Pierce University is a Division III hockey team that competes in the Northeast-10 Conference. Team Maryland now has three commits this season and four in their two years as a franchise.
