Team Maryland Forward and Assistant Captain, Tristan Mock, has announced he will be joining teammate Evan Green to play hockey for Bucker College. Tristan Mock is the team leader in points (48), goals (21), and assists (27). Mock represented Team Maryland for this season’s EHL All-Star Game.
Team Maryland Head Coach and General Manager, Josh Fusco, issued the following statement:
“Tristan came here on a mission to grow as a player and elevate himself to maximize his exposure to schools,” said Fusco. “We have built a relationship surrounded by trust and it has now come full circle with his commitment. He has done a tremendous job for Team Maryland and is an essential part of our lineup. We are extremely happy for him and his decision.”
Mock was previously coached by Fusco in Wilkes-Barre Scranton and joined him on Team Maryland this season.
While speaking with Tristan Mock about his commitment to Becker he said:
“I fell in love with the campus right immediately,” said Mock. “Coach Young is a great guy that expressed great interest and went the extra mile to recruit me, which made me feel comfortable. I like the direction of the program and what Coach Young has established so far. I am happy with my choice, I appreciate all the support from the TM organization, and wouldn’t be in this position without Coach Fusco’s guidance.”
The Becker College Hawks are a Division III hockey team playing in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). Team Maryland now has two commits this season and three in their two years as a franchise.
