The Quebec Peewee Tournament runs February 8-19th, 2017 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The host arena is the brand new, state of the art, Videotron Centre.
Started in 1960, the Quebec Peewee Tournament is one of oldest and biggest youth hockey tournaments in the world. The tournaments has hosted teams from around the globe and has a very impressive alumni list including NHL legends like Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Mark Messier, and Guy Lafluer.

DC Elite Hockey Development Summer Training Program
Who: DC Area Elite Hockey Players – Program is by invitation only
What: 10 Week Summer Hockey Development Program
When: June 6th to August 18th, Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday Nights, 5:45-9PM (no sessions 7/4-7/7 & 7/25-7/28)
Where: Rockville Ice Arena and ToughIt Gym
With: Gregg Marinari, TM Hockey Director; Paul Fritz, Owner, Toughit Gym; Mike Fransen, TM U16 Coach
Cost: Elite Package – $2000 - 3 times per week, 27 Total Sessions – 67.5 Hours (33.75 Hrs each of On & Off-ice Training)
Tier 1 Package – $1600 - 2 times per week, 18 Total Sessions – 45 Hours (22.5 Hrs each of On & Off-ice Training)
Stay Fresh Package – $900 - 1 time per week, 9 Total Sessions – 22.5 Hours (11.25 Hrs each of On & Off-ice Training)

What is DC Elite?
DC Elite is a 10-week, ice hockey training program, whose primary focus is On-Ice Skill Development and Off-Ice Athlete Physical and Mental Conditioning. DC Elite follows USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) recommended training programs. Curriculum have been custom tailored to specific age groups to maximize development and proficiency.
When/where is DC Elite?
DC Elite’s Summer Program runs from Monday, June 6th to Thursday, August 18th at the Rockville Ice Arena. The program operates Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, from 5:45-9:00 PM.
***There will be no training sessions the weeks of 7/4-7/7 and 7/25-7/28. ***
What can I expect from DC Elite?
Every training session is comprised of an on-ice and off-ice element.
Peewees and Bantams will be off-ice 5:45-7:00 PM and on-ice 7:25-8:40 PM.
Midgets/College/Pro will be on-ice 6-7:15 PM and off-ice 7:45-9 PM.
On-ice: Monday and Tuesday’s on-ice sessions will feature skill development, position specific, and game situations drills.
Thursday sessions are only available with the Elite and Tier 1 Packages. Thursday’s on-ice sessions will feature all small area games, cross-ice, and/or full ice scrimmages with mixed aged groups.
What program options does DC Elite Offer?
DC Elite offers a variety of different program options to meet your needs. The different packages are designed to help you achieve your personal goals.
Elite Package – 3 times per week, 27 sessions $2000.00
Description: Designed for the serious player that is looking to train hard all summer long and advance their game to the next level.
Program Specs: 27 total sessions = 33.75 hours on-ice training + 33.75 hours off-ice training
When: Peewee to Pro levels meet Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 5:45-9PM
Dates: June 6,7,9,13,14,16,20,21,23,27,28,29 (Wednesday)
Tier 1 Package – 2 times per week, 18 sessions $1600.00
Description: Designed for the player that wants to train hard over the summer. This program is perfect for athletes playing a summer sport but still want to train for the up-coming season.
Program Specs: 18 total sessions = 22.5 hours on-ice training + 22.5 hours off-ice training
When: Peewee: Monday & Thursday, 5:45-9PM
Bantam: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:45-9PM
Midget/College/Pro: Tuesday & Thursday 5:45-9PM

Stay Fresh – 1 time per week, 9 sessions $900.00
Description: Designed to keep your skills sharp and keep you in shape over the summer. This is more of a conditioning package than a skill development package.
Program Specs: 9 total sessions = 11.25 hours on-ice training + 11.25 hours off-ice training
When: Peewee = Monday 5:45-9PM
Bantam = Tuesday 5:45-9PM
Midget/College = Tuesday 5:45-9PM

Who are the instructors at DC Elite?
Gregg Marinari – Head On-Ice Instructor
Coach Gregg has a long history of player development as he has been on staff with USA Hockey’s Player Development Program since 2001. During that time, he has served as an on-ice instructor at both the National Select Camps and at the District levels. He has also served as Head Coach of the USA Hockey’s Sled Development Program since 2009. During his time with the Player Development program, Coach Gregg has worked with numerous NCAA Division 1 and Pro players. He currently serves as Hockey Director at Team Maryland Tier 1 AAA Hockey Club and served as Head Coach of Drexel University from 2003-2013.
Paul Fritz – Head Off-Ice Instructor
Coach Paul is currently the Owner and Head Instructor of the ToughIt Training Center in the Rockville Ice Arena. He is also the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Team Maryland Tier 1 AAA Hockey Club. Coach Paul grew up playing in the DC area before attending Canterbury Prep School.
Mike Fransen – On-Ice Instructor
Coach Mike is currently the Head Coach of Team Maryland’s Midget U16 National Team. He enters his second season with Team Maryland Tier 1 AAA Hockey Club. Prior to joining TM, Coach Mike played professionally in the Federal Hockey League after a successful collegiate career at the NCAA Division III level.
Denis Kravchencko (UMass Amherst) and Daniel Fritz (Quinnipiac) – Instructors
Both Denis and Daniel are currently playing at the NCAA Division 1 Level. They look to share their knowledge and experience with the young players. They will provide a great resource for players trying to make it to the next level.
